JOHN Wellham and his dad Chris will be hoping to go at least one step further as they take on Eccleshill Victoria Conservative duo Lewis Walsh and Howard Mawson in the Bradford Snooker Pairs semi-finals at Clayton Conservative Club on Saturday (7.30pm).
The Windhill pair are looking to reach a first final together after losing to eventual winners Gareth and Anthony Green in the last four last season.
The match is the best of five frames and spectators are welcome.
* The E Rosse Hopkinson plate final is at Undercliffe Cricket Club tonight (7.45pm).
Cullingworth Conservative Club take on Leicester Street, who were beaten finalists last year. Players should note that the dress code does not include jeans or trainers.
* The Yorkshire snooker final and presentation evening will be held at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds tomorrow (7.30pm), with Mikey Tomlinson of Castleford taking on Leeds opponent Jonathon Bagley.
