BAILDON will be involved in several derby matches this season in the Bradford Winter League as all four are in Division Three.
And the club made a great start to the campaign as all three won.
The A team will be among the front-runners for the championship and had an 8-2 success against Unity E, with Peter Warner and Tim Williams going unbeaten.
Baildon C triumphed against Hermits M , John Jennison, Shirley Toulmin and Jerry Harkaway taking three each in a 9-1 scoreline but the D team faced a much tougher contest against Hermits N.
Joe Healey was unbeaten for Hermits and Peter Holroyd added a single as they led 4-3.
Alan Towriss won one for Baildon and Kevin Flaherty and David Rudley both won two and also took the doubles as Baildon secured
a 6-4 victory.
In Division Two, honours were even in the Hermits H v Hermits F encounter.
The H team led 2-0 through Les Packer and Martin Jackson but Steve Mills recorded a treble for the F team and, with Chris Town and Kath Manogue adding one each, they led 5-4.
Terry Halliday won two for Hermits H and joined Packer to take the doubles to level the match.
