BRADFORD Veterans have won the 2015 Hickson Trophy, carding nine winners in defeating Leeds 223-200 in the final at Pudsey.

The winners had earlier edged past Skipton and Huddersfield, while Leeds had scraped past Halifax and Barnsley-Doncaster-Rotherham.

* BRADFORD will need to continue their good form as they take on Huddersfield tomorrow in their penultimate match of the Yorkshire Veterans' Inter-District League.

The wool city have a 23-point lead over their opponents, so victory will almost guarantee them the title.
