ANDY Murray will play Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin in the first round at Wimbledon next week, and has also been drawn in the same quarter-final as Rafael Nadal.

Kukushkin is ranked 58th in the world rankings and has lost to Murray on the two occasions they have met.

Murray, the 2013 champion, could meet tenth seed Nadal in the last eight but was drawn in the opposite side of the draw to Novak Djokovic, meaning the Scot cannot meet the world No 1 until the final.

But Murray's potential route to the final is far from easy with Jo-Wilfried Tsonga potentially waiting in the last 16 and seven-time champion Roger Federer in the last four.

Of the ten men who are in the main draw at Wimbledon who also played in the Aegon Ilkley Trophy last week, five will face seeds.

Men's singles winner Denis Kudla plays 28th seed Pablo Cuevas (Uruguay), Israel's Dudi Sela, seeded second at Ilkley, meets Austria Dominic Thiem, seeded 32nd, Japan's Horoki Moriya plays ninth seed and US Open champion Marin Cilic (Croatia), and Sweden's Elias Ymer faces another hard server in 23rd seed Ivo Karlovic (Croatia).

John Millman (Australia) is up against 19th seed Tommy Robredo (Spain), while Millman's countryman Luke Saville faces 21st seed Richard Gasquet (France).

Of the rest of the Ilkley ten, two are up against each other in runner-up Matthew Ebden (Australia) and Blaz Rola (Slovenia), while Wimbledon wild card Liam Broady (Great Britain) faces Marinko Matosevic (Australia) and John-Patrick Smith (Australia) plays fellow qualifier Kenny De Schepper (France).

Twelve women who played at Ilkley are in the first round draw for the singles at Wimbledon, with champion Anna-Lena Friedsam (Germany) facing Vitalia Diatchenko (Russia) and runner-up Magda Linette (Poland) meeting Kurumi Nara (Japan) for the right to potentially play second seed Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic).

Annika Beck (Germany), top seed at Ilkley, plays Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens, in-form semi-finalist Anna Kontaveit (Estonia) meets 23rd seed Victoria Azarenka (Belarus), Saisai Zheng (China) is up against fifth seed Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark) and doubles winner Yi-Fan Xu (China) faces seventh seed Ana Ivanovic (Serbia).

Denisa Allertova meets Katerina Siniakova in an all-Czech Republic first-round match, while Qiang Wang (China) is up against Rachel Hogenkamp (Netherlands) and Lin Zhu (China) meets Alaiksandra Sasnovich (Belarus).

Qualifier Sachia Vickery (USA) plays eighth seed Elena Makarova (Russia), Olga Govortsova (Belarus) meets Andreea Mitu (Romania), who originally entered Ilkley but then withdrew, and Tina Paszek (Austria) faces Australian Casey Dellacqua.
