YORKSHIRE will face great rivals South Yorkshire on Sunday, July 19 for a place in the British Parks Senior Team Championship final.

In the away match at Towers BC, the sweep was shared by Paul Wilczynski and Dean Scarth with 21-3 winning cards.

Meanwhile, Yorkshire Ladies play the final match in the first round of their Inter-County Championship against Greater Manchester on Sunday.

Following a disappointing loss to Wales in the last game, Yorkshire – who lifted the Waterloo Cup in this event last year – now need to win this weekend to have any chance in remaining in the competition.

Greater Manchester were fourth in their first-round section, although they have had close results in their previous games this year against Wales and North Warwickshire.

The home game is at Paddock C&B and the away game at Royton CC in Oldham. Both games begin at 2pm and support would be greatly appreciated.
