CITY of Bradford members won 27 gold medals, 28 silvers and 17 bronzes in the Harrogate & District Spa Graded Meet at Harrogate Hydro.
Outstanding performances and gold medals in the A Grade meet went to Oliver Wain (6), Frankie Woodman (3), Archie Minto (3), Abigail Shuttleworth (2), Eve Midgley (2), Sam Naylor (2), Cameron Green (2), Maisie Dunn, Rachel Binns, Alex Medd, Archie Dunn, Dalton Clapham, George Wilde and Sam Backhouse.
Meanwhile, A-Grade 'speeding tickets' went to Minto (2), John-Luke Hutchinson (2), Archie Dunn, Clapham and Sophia Basaraba.
At B grade, City won 25 golds, 25 silvers and 17 bronzes, with the following being top of the rostrum: Alex Medd (5), Eleanor Hydleman (3), Ellen Winters (2), Sophie Haran (2), Ella Jones (2), Ella Stabler (2), Josh Taylor (2), Danielle Taylor, Esme Pearce, Elizabeth Stubley, Simran Mander, Tom Byers, Fraser Buxton and Sam Backhouse.
The meet was a good introduction to competitive swimming for some of City's emerging talent, all of whom train with Bradford Council's Leisure Services Aquatic Competition Programme.
