TASIF Khan has wasted no time in earning a shot at the international masters belt.

The Girlington bantamweight earned the chance after brushing aside Ladislav Miko with another first-round stoppage in Liverpool.

Khan slipped away from the Czech's early flurry and let loose with double-handed combinations to the head and body.

A powerful left put Miko on the deck after just 45 seconds. He beat the count but Khan quickly had him down again to seal an emphatic win.

Khan, who will fight again in London on May 2, said: "I had some dark days when I was away from the ring, but my family, friends and supporters helped me to remain focused and work hard.

"I'm hoping to bring the international masters belt back to Bradford as a way of repaying the faith put in me by the people of Bradford."

Tickets for Khan's next outing at the iconic York Hall are available from 07756-311857.
