HERMITS A and Hermits B are involved in a four-way Bradford League battle for the Division 1B title, with the A team claiming bragging rights when the stablemates faced off in the latest round of matches.
The A team moved into joint-top spot with a dominant display as Matthew Shaw and Marcus Reynolds both finished unbeaten, while Sarfraz Khan supplied a single in an 8-2 victory.
Unity B share top spot with Hermits A but they lost for the third match in a row and were never in the hunt against Pudsey B.
Richard Abrahams and Zoe Cheeseman both won three singles and Doug Bartle took two as Pudsey triumphed 8-2.
Unity B and Hermits A are both on 65 points, while Hermits B and Fastbats A are just five points behind.
In Division 3B, Bradford College moved up to second following their trip to Baildon D.
Yutaro Tsuji was untroubled as he easily won his three singles, while Farook Khan added two and they combined to secure a 6-4 victory with the doubles.
