KEIGHLEY'S Seidokan Karate Academy fighters won medals representing the Sport England squad at the International Karate Union European Under-21 championships at the University of East London.
Jack Lynch won a bronze medal in the under-21 under-70kg male fighting and two silvers in the male team and team rotation events. Ellie Greenhalgh won silver in the under-18 under-60kg female fighting event and gold in the female open team rotation.
Seidokan senior instructor Jeff Bottomley (seventh dan) was also part of the coaching staff. The event was well organised and the standard of competitors very high.
