Silsden's Liam Burdock and Baildon's Jacob Barnett are joining forces with fellow Quest Taekwondo member Harriet Akeroyd this weekend in representing Team England at the Commonwealth Championships in Edinburgh.
South Craven pupil Burdock, 12, who will compete in the cadet -33kg category, and 18-year-old Leeds Beckett University students Akeroyd, of Settle, and Barnett are among six Quest athletes competing against large contingents from Canada and Australia.
Akeroyd, who is in the -53kg division, and Barnett, who is in the -68kg section, will have illustrious England team-mates in 2012 Olympians Martin Stamper and bronze medallist Lutalo Mohammed.
