BRADFORD BMX ace Martin Ogden finished seventh in the BMX World Championships in Rotterdam.
The multi-British champion might have finished higher in the 40-44 years' cruiser category but for a crash in the first straight of the final, after which Ogden remounted to complete the race.
Ogden said: "In my age class, there were 77 riders that raced head to head eight at a time, and I made it all the way through the knockout rounds to the final race of eight riders.
"But I am quite happy with seventh as two years previously in Birmingham, I was leading in the knockout stages of the semi-final and crashed.
"It was nice to know that I can compete at world level and it is also good to bring a world ranking back to Bradford BMX Club."
