Right on Cue

YORKSHIRE Inter-District League fixtures are out for the new snooker season, and there is a mouth-watering match to start proceedings.

Defending champions Bradford No 1 and newly-promoted Division Two champions Bradford No 2 will meet at Undercliffe Cricket Club on Sunday, October 12.

Entry forms are now available for the Bradford Snooker Championships, singles and pairs, plus the Hey's Trophy, which is the team knockout.

These can be downloaded from the Bradford Association website www.bsa-cuesports.com, although forms are being sent out this week.

Eddie Ratcliffe (07790-379832) will once again be running the Hey's Trophy and Hopkinson Plate, and entries should be sent to him directly as indicated on the forms.

The Bradford Championships will this year be run by Damian Bentley (07590-546610), who was heavily involved with the competitions alongside Richard Bakes last season and is looking forward to the challenge of building entries up for these prestigious events.

Again, as stated on the forms, entries should be sent directly to Damian, while queries should also be directed towards him.

Would everyone please note that entry fees MUST be sent immediately to ensure their entry is registered, as well as enabling the tournament directors to run the competitions efficiently without the need to chase people.

Moorhouse Shield entry forms will be sent out before the end of the month as this competition is not due to start until later in the year.
