YORKSHIRE go into their last British Parks County Championship match against North Derbyshire on Sunday knowing that victory may not be enough to qualify them for the final.

The white-rose team are one point behind leaders Greater Manchester, but with a tougher game, with the leaders taking on Cheshire, the weakest team in the group.

Yorkshire's home match will be played at Spen Victoria, with the away match at Fairfield BC.

However, questions have to be asked as to why this parks county match clashes with the Yorkshire Crown Green Inter-District League, and why some bowlers have chosen to represent other districts rather than continue their support of the Yorkshire Parks team.

Yorkshire will be in need of a vociferous support at Spen if they are to stand a chance of reaching the final.
