Bingley rally driver Sam Bilham made it three wins in a row by taking another class victory on The Somerset Stages Rally – the third round of the BTRDA Rally Championship.
The first stage was the infamous Porlock Hill Toll Road and teenager Bilham emerged with a seven-second lead in the class.
He extended this lead on the second run through Porlock and then the event moved into The Somerset Forests for a further ten stages through the day.
Bilham never looked back and, when the event finished in Bridgewater, he was 1min 30sec in front of his nearest rival, good enough for 44th overall in an event of 120 starters – some achievement for a teenager in a 1000cc Nissan Micra.
