Fastbats B continued their impressive form in Division Two of the Bradford League with a well-earned draw at table-topping Hermits B.

The Fastbats side are third in the table and took their unbeaten sequence to seven matches after trailing 3-1 and 5-3.

Hassan Gerrard was unbeaten for Hermits, while Paul McKrieth and Glen Ellis took one win each.

But Greg Hill and Helen Shields won twice each for Fastbats, with Shields overcoming McKreith in the final singles after losing the first two games, before the pair then dominated the doubles to level the match at 5-5.

There were two Baildon v Hermits encounters in Division Five, with honours finishing even.

Baildon C maintained third position with a hard-fought 7-3 victory at Hermits L.

Shirley Anne Toulmin dropped only one game in winning her three singles, with John Jennison also taking three but having to go the distance before beating both George and Mick Raine. Baildon also needed five games to edge the doubles.

Hermits J had better luck on their visit to Baildon D as they won 6-4. John Rawnsley led the way with three wins, with Maurice Smithies and Gordon Tylbrook adding one each plus the doubles.
