Bairstow doubles up in Albion Sports derby win

Albion Sports boosted their Baris Northern Counties East League promotion hopes with a thrilling Division One derby victory at Eccleshill United.

The Eagles took the lead but Albion hit back with goals from Joe Brown and Jordan Missin, before the hosts pulled level late in the first half.

A brace from Jamie Bairstow put Albion in control and Danny Brown added their fifth goal. Eccleshill’s third came late on.

Meanwhile, mid-table LIVERSEDGE play a rearranged NCE Premier Division match at third-placed Staveley Miners Welfare tomorrow night.
