Giant defender Luke Oliver made his City debut ten days after joining the club.

The 6ft 7in central defender, on loan from Wycombe, replaced Steve Williams as Matt Clarke's partner.

The other change from the Port Vale defeat was the return of Omar Daley in place of Gareth Evans. It was the Jamaican's first start since February last year when he snapped his cruciate.

Gavin Grant, who came off the bench at Aldershot, was named among the subs after recovering from his ankle injury.
