Tadulala not fooled by Hull KR's dip in form

The Bulls aren’t being lulled into thinking Hull KR are there for the taking on Sunday.

Struggling Bradford head to Craven Park hoping to pick up a first win in four attempts and start salvaging their season.

Rovers, meanwhile, after a flying start where they won ten of their opening 14 games, have fallen off the pace, losing five of the last six.

That has given the Bulls hope, especially as three of those losses – Wigan, Harlequins and Warrington – have come on home turf.

But, having seen his own side blow an amazing chance against out-of-sorts Castleford last week, winger Semi Tadulala admits nothing can be presumed.

“We’re just going to go there and concentrate on our own performance,” said Tadulala.

“We’ve still not played an entire 80 minutes yet and it’s something we need to achieve.

We’ve played in patches but not delivered over a full match.

“We’re looking to put things right and go there with the right attitude.”

Against Cas, Tadulala crossed for his tenth try in 18 games this season and is currently in talks about extending his stay at Odsal for another 12 months.

But his priority is this campaign and getting those much-needed two points to lift his side’s cause.

Craven Park is one of Super League’s most atmospheric grounds and should bring the best out of Steve McNamara’s men.

“It is a bit of a vocal crowd over there and it’s always very daunting but we can use it to our advantage,” Tadulala, 31, added.

“As long as we play how we want to play and control what we can, the scoreboard will look after itself.”

The normally reliable Fijian dropped a couple of bombs against Cas which resulted in conceding two tries, although he seemed to be tackled in the air for the second in the 40-38 defeat.

That was one of a number of crucial decisions that went against the Bulls.

However, the former Wakefied star insisted: “You can’t change the past but you can definitely change the future.”

The Bulls best chance is if the Robins think this is an easy two points against bottom of the table strugglers and let down their guard.

How on earth can the Bulls go to HKR and put on a show after this weeks revelations?

It looks absolutely clear, many of the players have lost interest and the coach and management look like headless chickens.

You have to go back considerable years into the darkest days of Northern to see a comparison. No wonder sponsors including Sky are loath to touch them with a barge pole.

I still feel this is one they can win because other teams are thinking they are "soft touches" and we have seen, albeit all too rarely, what they can do. This is a game when they can answer some of the critics back, including me. If they don't, I'll dig out my early sixties gear (which btw no longer fits!).

We have a chance even if only slight as we have played much better away from home this season in general. again we need to target their play makers like Dobson and Cooke and keep Fox well wrapped up.

I imagine that they will target Sheriffes wing as weak defencively so the 'coach' needs to make changes to stiffen it up if he has noticed its weak?????

I tend to agree with this statement.

Sneaking a win at HKR won't even begin to paper over the cracks. Only a winning run of 4 or 5 games could restore my confidence..... Or a regime change!.

agree the season is probably over. let's hope Semi does sign on again for another year but wouldn't blame him if he decided to leg it. even Morro hasn't updated his blog this week - does he have nothing to say?
security word is most past who can put most past the bulls this season?!

Massive changes in personnel are afoot at Odsal. Players are being offered new contracts at a far lower rate than they are currently on. Morro is off back home Jefferies is not staying and plenty more. The rumour mill is off again, Lynch to Wigan etc but let's see if this one is true!!!
