Yorkshire set Derbyshire 181 for victory

Yorkshire have set Derbyshire a mammoth victory target of 181 in the Friends Life t20 at Headingley.

This is after the Tykes reached 180-5 from their allotted overs after losing the toss and being put in.

A record breaking opening partnership of 131 from Adam Lyth and Phil Jaques underpinned the commanding total.

Lyth top-scored with 78, while Jaques made 64.

David Miller also chipped in with a useful innings of 19 as Yorkshire equalled their highest total in the tournament this season.

If the Tykes win this game, then they’ll guarantee themselves a home quarter-final.
