Ashley Metcalfe, who last played a first-class game for Yorkshire in 1995, is back in a white-rose shirt on Friday.

The 48-year-old Undercliffe batsman is representing his county against the Towergate Halifax League in a Twenty20 match at Copley Cricket Club (6pm).

Also named in the line-up are current Yorkshire players Rich Pyrah, Gerard Brophy and former Copley junior Oliver Hannon-Dalby.

The contest is part of the developing relationship between national NatWest CricketForce showcase club Copley, Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Cricket Board and the ECB.

Juniors will have a chance to bowl at a Yorkshire player and win a family ticket for a Twenty20 match at Headingley.

The match is sponsored by BM Howarth Ltd Chartered Accountants and admission is £3 for adults and £1.50 for OAPS and children.
