Yorkshire have bowled Nottinghamshire out for only 59 during the afternoon session of the two side’s LV= County Championship fixture at Trent Bridge.

With the home side in trouble at lunch on day one, on 47 for seven, it took the Tykes attack only four more overs to finish the current league leaders off.

Oliver Hannon-Dalby took two of the wickets, to finish with figures of 4-18, while Ajmal Shahzad also weighed in with one wicket to end with figures of 4-21.

Then, despite losing three quick wickets themselves, Yorkshire have continued to dominate proceedings with the bat to reach tea on 129 for three.

Captain Andrew Gale has done most of the damage, with an aggresive innings of 61 not out, but he has also been ably assisted by Jonathan Bairstow, who is unbeaten on 24.

It means the Tykes already have a first-innings advantage of 70 runs – with 32 overs of play remaining today.
