YORKSHIRE Diamonds lost their third straight Women's Super League match as they failed to chase down 119 against Southern Vipers at the Ageas Bowl.
The Diamonds slumped to 64 all out to lose by 54 runs against a side led by former England skipper Charlotte Edwards.
After winning the toss, the table-topping Vipers recovered from 19-4 to post 118-4, with Yorkshire-born Arran Brindle one of two batsmen to score 45 not out.
The Diamonds then slipped up in the face of left-arm spinner Linsey Smith, who took 4-10.
Yorkshire's penultimate fixture is the Roses clash against Lancashire Thunder at Emirates Old Trafford on Friday night.
