YORKSHIRE'S Specsavers County Championship match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston is heading for a draw.
The hosts, replying to 379 all out, advanced to 203-2 from 59 overs thanks in the main to a stand of 132 for the second wicket between Ian Bell and Varun Chopra, who took tea on 99 not out.
They advanced the score from 18-1 prior to lunch to 150-1 midway through the afternoon before Bell edged a turning Adil Rashid delivery to slip for 59.
Jonathan Trott then shared an unbroken 53 with Chopra through to the afternoon interval, with the former England man 38 not out.
Yorkshire are one bowler down following Ryan Sidebottom’s ankle injury this morning.
