YORKSHIRE and Warwickshire were interrupted by snow at Edgbaston as their Specsavers County Championship match headed towards a draw.

The flurry arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled 1pm lunch break, forcing the players off with the hosts on 54-1 in reply to 379.

Ryan Sidebottom fell this morning as Yorkshire moved from 368-9, before he limped off the field midway through his sixth over with an ankle injury.

Jack Brooks took the only Warwickshire wicket to fall when bowling Ian Westwood, leaving the score at 18-1 in the sixth over.

Ian Bell and Varun Chopra were on 24 apiece at the interval.
