KANE Williamson is to return to Yorkshire this summer.

The New Zealand batsman, who helped Yorkshire to the LV= Division One County Championship title last year, will be back for the latter stages of the competition this time.

Williamson's arrival is likely to be in time for the final three championship matches only, following New Zealand's scheduled one-day international tour of Zimbabwe and South Africa.

The 24-year-old's signature completes Yorkshire's planned overseas recruitment for 2015 - with Australian big-hitters Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell and veteran Pakistan batsman Younus Khan already on board.

Williamson will be joining Yorkshire for a third successive season.

He said: "I'm delighted to be returning to Yorkshire for my third spell.

"I have enjoyed my time over the last couple of years, and to be given the opportunity to return to the club is great.

"There is a brilliant culture at Yorkshire and it is a real privilege to be part of it."
