Centurion Adam Lyth and opening partner Alex Lees remain unbeaten at tea on the opening day of Yorkshire’s LV= County Championship match against Durham at Headingley.
They have taken the score from 145-0 from 32 overs at lunch to 231-0 from 64 at tea.
Lyth reached his third hundred of the season off 183 balls in the latter stages of the session, in the 59th over, before Lees was dropped by wicketkeeper Phil Mustard in the same Paul Coughlin over on 91.
Lees will resume this evening on 96 not out with Lyth on 106.
