Yorkshire duo Anthony McGrath and Andrew Gale consolidated with the bat after an early blow on day three of the County Championship clash against Lancashire at Old Trafford.
Adil Rashid secured his second five-wicket haul at Manchester in two seasons to bowl the hosts out for 231 after they had resumed on 204 for eight.
Leg-spinner Rashid took the two home wickets to fall this morning to finish with figures of five for 95 from 30.4 overs, while Steven Croft top-scored with 68.
But veteran all-rounder Dominic Cork, who is looking for a new county after it was announced he would be released at the end of the season, trapped Chris Taylor lbw with his fifth ball of the second over of Yorkshire’s reply.
Gale and McGrath recovered the innings from four for one to 59 for one, with Gale 22 not out and McGrath unbeaten on 32.
