Bradford clubs are at home in Parish Cup

Seven of the nine Bradford area sides have been drawn at home in the first round of the Towergate Halifax League’s Parish Cup on Sunday, April 29.

Denholme Clough, Oxenhope, Thornton, Shelf, Low Moor, Jer Lane and Queensbury were all given home ties when the draw was made last night at the league meeting at Pellon Social Club.

Wibsey Park Chapel were the Bradford club drawn away, while Clayton were one of two clubs to receive a bye into the second round on Sunday, May 20.

They will travel to the winners of Shelf and Triangle, while other potential derbies then are Thornton v Wibsey Park Chapel and Denholme Clough v Low Moor.
