Veteran spinner Jack Wilson set up a five-wicket victory for Shelf at third-placed Outlane in Division Three of the Halifax League.

Outlane appeared in control at 92 for one but Wilson was then introduced and his five for 25 helped restrict the hosts to 151 for nine.

Shelf lost their top three batsmen cheaply but Jonny Marshall steadied the ship for the second week running with 56, supported by Chris Maloney (37no) and Steve Priestley (28no).

Shelf Seconds had an early finish, bowling out Outlane Seconds for just 67 and winning with seven wickets to spare.
