All-rounder Johnny Lister’s classy 85 set Jer Lane on course for a seven-run Towergate Halifax League win over Mytholmroyd.
Rob McAvoy (53) and new signing Paul Chapman (50no) also contributed to Lane’s 291 for seven as they moved above their opponents into third place in the Premier Division.
Meanwhile, SHELF did well to defend a total of 150 as veteran Jack Wilson’s five for 31 earned a 28-run win against Wibsey Park Chapel in Division Three.
