Shelf played host to local Halifax League rivals Queensbury in Division Three in a match reduced to 40 overs a side due to the bad weather.
Queensbury were put into bat and scored a useful 155 for nine on a lively wicket, J Hussler top-scoring with 38.
D Maloney was again the pick off the bowlers for Shelf, taking four for 61.
In reply, Shelf’s top-order batted steadily and were always in control, with Andy Dimbleby being the backbone of the innings, scoring 39.
A quickfire 38 from Rob Kenny helped Shelf to a four-wicket victory.
