The JCT600 Sovereigns, under the player management of Babar Butt, have named a 13-man squad for their defence of the Cleckheaton Floodlit Twenty20 Competition next week.
The holders, who will face Wrenthorpe Warriors in the opening match next Tuesday, will again be led by Pudsey St Lawrence’s James Smith.
Cleckheaton Crusaders will play Huddersfield Drakes in the other semi-final the following night.
Accompanying Smith in the Bradford League side are Woodlands’ opening bowlers Safraz Ahmed and Pieter Swanepoel, Baildon skipper Ian Philliskirk, Pudsey St Lawrence all-rounder Gareth Clough and Esholt’s in-form Gulsheraz Ahmed.
At stake is the Thompson Davis & Co Ltd Cup, with the final scheduled for a week on Thursday.
The senior matches are due to start at 8.00 each night, with a junior match each night at 6.00, where the West Riding Motor Group Trophy is up for grabs.
