Shane McNamara’s third century of the season saw Steeton to victory over Calverley and booked them a Waddilove Cup semi-final spot against Follifoot.

The Aire-Wharfe League rivals were meeting for the second time in two days and once again Calverley were able to take runs off the Steeton attack, with Imran Mirza (72) top-scoring in their 239-7.

But their bowlers were again unable to contain the Steeton batting – especially McNamara, who clinched the six-wicket success with an unbeaten 107.

Addingham’s hopes of flying the Division Three flag in the last four were ended by Follifoot, who raced to 242-9 with Steve Kuhl and Mike Barber each picking up three wickets.

Daryl Robinson hit 35 in the reply but Addingham were bowled out for 163.

Cup holders Burley made short work of Knaresborough, Nick Brook picking up 5-15 as the home side were dismissed for just 113.

Ryan Cooper (40) and Charlie Davy (50no) eased Burley into the semi-finals where they will tackle Beckwithshaw, conquerors of Green Lane.

Yasser Ali (70), Phil Atkinson (52) and Ian Hawkridge (42no) gave Lane a platform of 228-5 in another match that was a replay of the previous day’s league fixture.

And once more Beckwithshaw proved just too strong, their experienced pair of Phil Critchley (89no) and John Inglis (56) getting them over the line with six wickets and four overs to spare.
