Nick Brook took his wicket tally to 24 in the last five Aire-Wharfe League games and kept Burley on course for their first championship since 1964.

Brook (5-37) and Jason Wright (4-25) skittled out Rawdon for just 63, a total Burley passed with nine wickets to spare with Michael Truswell top-scoring on 41.

That leaves Burley seven points clear of defending champions Beckwithshaw, who they meet in the penultimate match of the season.

Green Lane are third, a further 13 points back after opener Michael Abbott (60no) steered them to a three-wicket win at Thackley, following a season's best 6-46 from Ishtikhar Hussain restricting the home side to 117.

Adam Waite hit an unbeaten 92 as Guiseley set a target of 183-5 but Adel never got going, bowled out for 115, largely thanks to the efforts of Abid Awan (6-41).

Sam Smith (106) and Josh Atkinson (52no) were the heroes of Otley’s eight-wicket win at Pool.

With Division Two leaders Bilton losing at Knaresborough - their second defeat in three matches - there was a chance for the chasing pack to make up ground but only Follifoot took advantage, beating Calverley by six wickets despite a defiant knock of 64 not out by Shahid Bashir.

Harden fell victim to Mick Scott (6-67) and were dismissed for 138, a total Tong Park Esholt passed with two wickets in hand, and they are now five points behind the promotion places.

It would have been a tall order to expect Olicanian to achieve a second successive promotion and their outside hopes virtually disappeared when they could only pick up two points against Upper Wharfedale.

Gary Boulton (5-29) and Grant McDonald (3-36) restricted Illingworth to 132, a total Steeton passed comfortably thanks to Jonathan Best (80no) and Mark Taylor (32no).

That leaves Illingworth on 32 points, a point behind Calverley in the race to avoid relegation.

Silsden remain bottom, but level on points with Illingworth, after getting the better of a draw at Bolton Villas.

Luke Taylor (50) and Andrew Pullan (41) helped Silsden to 220-4. Villas never looked like getting up with the clock, despite a knock of 63 from Chris Hizzett, and finished on 185-5.

With Nick Smith (6-47) taking six wickets for the third week in a row to bowl out Ilkley for 91, Ben Rhydding looked set to open up a big lead at the top of Division Three.

But Richard Harrison came up with a spell of 7-21 to dismiss the home side for 73 and put Ilkley back on top by a single point.

With their main rivals scrapping among themselves, Olicanian had the chance to make up ground but they only managed a point against New Rover and are five points behind the promotion places.

Ben Waller (4-48) and Nasser Khalique (4-24) bowled out Horsforth for 100 and put Hall Park on their way to a six-wicket derby win.

Skipton stayed just above the bottom two by taking four points off Addingham, mainly thanks to a 6-74 spell by Andrew Fergie, which restricted the visitors to 150-7 in pursuit of Skipton’s 164.
