Tong Park veteran Mick Scott picked up five wickets in a victory over Colton and took his Aire-Wharfe League tally to 1,501 in a career dating back to 1970.
The celebrations continued when Luke Waters (103) and Phil Hanson (53no) wrapped up the win that took Park into the top five of DIVISION TWO.
There was more bowling drama at Follifoot where Mahir Ali’s 20-over spell of six for 23 bowled out the home side for 92 to give Thackley a 58-run win. Ali has now taken 26 wickets in his last four matches at a cost of just 4.31 each.
The win left Thackley in a three-way tie three points behind leaders Illingworth.
Adam Greenwood (34no) and Neil Spragg (66no) saw Steeton to their first win since the opening day of the season, easing past Bardsey’s 130 in 23 overs. Bowlers Alex Gledhill (4-15) and Gary Boulton (3-34) had done the earlier damage.
That eased Steeton away from the drop zone but they could not shake off Bilton, who also moved up after beating Upper Wharfedale, whose 141 total included 75 by opener Andrew Foulds.
Harden slipped into the bottom two when they lost at home to Knaresborough, despite a spirited 62 from No 7 batsman Steve Bateman that included 13 fours.
Rawdon caused a major upset at the top of DIVISION ONE as they outplayed leaders North Leeds to pick up five points.
Jamie Pickering (62) and Niall Colman (36) put them on the way with an opening stand of 109 and Denis Rock weighed in with 43 off 26 balls, including five sixes, as Rawdon raced to 258 for seven, a total their opponents never looked likely to reach.
That opened the door for Green Lane to go back to the top after they inflicted a first defeat on fellow high-fliers Beckwithshaw.
This was mainly thanks to Yasir Ali, who followed up a knock of 60 with four for 15 off his seven overs. He was ably assisted by Neil Allitt’s three for eight.
Dan Forster struck 111 not out as Guiseley set a target of 260 for four but in a thrilling finish the Kirkstall batsmen reached 252 for nine to salvage two points.
Calverley remain deep in trouble after their 87-run defeat at Adel, while Silsden are still rock bottom after Otley (272-4) beat them by 85 runs.
Dale Tormey was the star of the show with 135 not out and six for 43 for Otley. Matthew O’Grady was also in good form with a century.
Burley came close to beating championship hopefuls Collingham, David Brook (61) and 16-year-old Mike Truswell (40) performing well, but they were still six runs short of victory when they were bowled out.
Steve McCabe (115), who shared a 199 fifth-wicket stand with David Britton (91no), saw Olicanian take five points in their DIVISION THREE top-of-the-table clash with Bolton Villas, for whom Barry Hawksworth hit 63 not out.
Nick Smith (5-30) was the star performer as Ben Rhydding beat Alwoodley by six wickets.
