Aire-Wharfe League champions Kirkstall Educational want a shake-up of the points system.
Their proposal is to go from six points for a win to 20 for a win if a side bats first or 16 points for a win if a side bats second.
The losing side could pick up a maximum of four batting bonus points (125, 150, 175, 200 runs) and four bowling (three, five, seven and nine wickets), while both teams could earn bonus points if a match was drawn.
A tie would warrant ten points per side (instead of three) plus bonus points, while an incomplete match where a minimum of 55 overs have been bowled would earn each side five points plus any bonus points accrued.
Any team benefiting from their opponents failing to fulfil a fixture would receive 17 points.
