ALL Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Conference Division leaders Northowram Fields had to survive a scare before securing a 13-run win over Oulton.

Opener Majid Jahangir (41) was the only batsman to look at ease as his side plunged to 81-8 but a spirited 21 from John Lister lifted them to 132 as Joseph Sykes (6-36) and Matthew Boucher (3-50) posed problems.

Oulton also found run-scoring difficult and were bowled out for 119, with Jonathan Lee taking 4-19 and Zafar Khan 3-27.

Buttershaw St Paul's enjoyed another run spree as they defeated Gildersome.

Evergreen Gary Wainwright led the way with 168 – a fine innings containing eight sixes and 21 fours – and was joined in a second-wicket stand of 159 by Kevin McDermott (83) and a third-wicket alliance of 144 with Tosh Baker (97no).

St Paul's' 371-4 left Gildersome with little chance and they were bowled out for 150, Liam Pearson top-scoring with 45 as Pritesh Mistry (4-26) and Dharmesh Mistry (3-38) got among the wickets.

Third-placed Great Preston had an afternoon to forget as they were skittled out for just 52 as they suffered a nine-wicket defeat at the hands of Wakefield St Michael's.

Michael Halloran (6-20) and Joseph Finnigan (4-32) shared the wickets as Great Preston collapsed.

League chief executive Mark Heald took 4-7 as East Ardsley bowled out Adwalton for 131 to secure a 134-run win over the bottom team.

East Ardsley made 265-8, with Haseen Bashir (64no), Luke Sandy (59) and Scott Mullins (40) leading the way.

James Watling (5-26) and Kirti Tandel (3-34) helped bowl out Azaad for 145 to secure a 54-run win for East Leeds. Imran Maboob made 48 for Azaad, while the top scorers in East Leeds' 199-8 were Tom Chapman (58) and Chris Canning (37).

Usman Qureshi was again in good touch for Heckmondwike & Carlinghow, making 117, including five sixes and 12 fours as he dominated his side's 178 in a 68-run win over Rodley.

Robert Young (4-43) and Alex Williams (4-40) were the pick of the Rodley bowlers.

In reply, Rodley were dismissed for 110 as Paul Cooper (3-25), Adnaan Rawat (3-25) and Jonathan Elstub (3-31) wrapped up victory.
