TOWNVILLE made it 11 wins from 11 Championship B games with a 48-run triumph over Gomersal in the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League.

Once again the leaders' powerful batting line-up functioned well, with Jack Hughes (81), Conor Harvey (61) and Tim Walton (53) powering them to 262-8 declared in just 36 overs.

Big-hitting Harvey made his runs off just 23 balls with five sixes and six fours, while James Russell (5-51) was easily the pick of the Gomersal bowlers.

Half-centuries from Adam Greenwood (67) and Richard Wear (50) enabled Gomersal to reply with 213-9 as Hughes (4-70) and Jack Hebden (3-48) ensured that Townville extended their 100 per cent start.

Second-placed Wrenthorpe are 53 points behind Townville after their 67-run win over lowly Brighouse.

Darryl Hendricks (86), Jordan Sleightholme (45) and Jonathan Rudge (33no) powered Wrenthorpe to 225-6 in 40 overs, with Danyaal Ahmed (3-67) the most-successful bowler.

Brighouse made 158-9 in reply, Awaise Hussain top-scoring with an unbeaten 34 while Greg Wood (3-37) was the pick of the Wrenthorpe bowlers.

Methley continued their recent good form with a 135-run win over rock-bottom Hartshead Moor.

Ashton Blakey (65), Marcus Walmsley (45) and Edward Walmsley (44) provided the impetus for Methley's total of 244-6.

Hartshead Moor then struggled against the bowling of spinners Edward Walmsley (4-27) and Grant Soames (3-33) as they were bowled out for 109.

Good batting from Farrukh Alam (57), supported by Gary Close (36) and Arman Hussain (34no), enabled Carlton to overhaul Bowling Old Lane's 154-5, which included an unbeaten 82 from opener Adal Islam.

There was close finish at Altofts as the home side secured a ten-run win over Spen Victoria. Kiwi Matt Holstein was their match-winner with 5-50 as the visitors were bowled out for 184, Peter Jackson top-scoring with 39.

The Altofts total of 194-7 owed much to the efforts of Stephen Palmer (55) against a bowling attack in which Nick Montgomery (3-33) and Bradley Davis (3-37) had the most success.

Hisan Ahmed (4-37) and Sohail Hussain (3-37) bowled out Hopton Mills for 128 as Bankfoot recorded a comfortable 67-run win.

Stephen Bland (37) top-scored for Mills when they replied to Bankfoot's 195-6, in which Nahim Ashraf was the mainstay of the innings with 52 while Hussain chipped in with 39.

Conference leaders Northowram Fields recorded their seventh win of the season as they brushed aside Crossbank Methodists by seven wickets.

Josh Bennett-Keer (4-26) and Jonathan Lee (3-18) joined forces as Crossbank were restricted to 94-9 in their 27 overs per side contest, only Anees Rawat (31) offering much resistance. Northowram eased to victory in 16 overs as Chris Metcalf hit 62.

Second-placed Great Preston lost ground as they suffered a crushing nine-wicket defeat against Buttershaw St Paul's, the team immediately behind them in the table.

Great Preston struggled against the bowling of Ben Platt (4-26) and Dharmesh Mistry (3-23) as they were dismissed for 97 (James Marston 36). St Paul's took just 13.5 overs to knock off the runs, Kevin McDermott making an unbeaten 55.

East Leeds quickly followed up their first win of the campaign against Crossbank Methodists the previous week with a five-wicket success as Azaad.

Bowlers Thomas Chapman (5-29) and Allan Olbison (4-37) joined forces to set up the victory as they helped dismiss Azaad for 126, Zaeem Zulfqar (47) providing the only real resistance. An unbeaten 72 from Naseem Aslam, backed up by Thomas Chapman (34), saw East Leeds home.

Joseph Finnigan's fine figures of 6-32 enabled fourth-placed Wakefield St Michael's to bowl out Adwalton for 130 and secure a 136-run win.

Andy Langle (36) top-scored for Adwalton as they replied to a St Michael's total of 266-9 declared, which was built around the contributions of Ayaz Seedat (88), James Cooper (50) and John Bowett (46).

An unbeaten 61 from Richard Jennings enabled East Ardsley to overhaul Heckmondwike & Carlinghow's 124 to record a six-wicket win.

Heckmondwike were restricted by accurate bowling from David Battye (3-16) and Ashley Pearson (3-19). Adam Holt (32) top-scored for Heckmondwike, whose best bowler was Paul Cooper (3-27).

Gildersome proved too good for bottom team Rodley as they recorded a four-wicket win. Arshad Jan took 4-38 and Khalil Liaquat 3-22 as Rodley were all out for 92. Haseeb Hashmi hit 34 to guide Gildersome to their target.
