IDLE were the only side to record a win in the All Rounder Cricket Bradford Premier League Championship A Division.

They defeated Liversedge by 40 runs to record their first victory of the season.

Opener Mohammed Rafiq dominated Idle's innings in the 30 overs per side contest, making 98 from 87 balls, including three sixes and ten fours.

They finished on 141-5, William Atkin being the pick of the Liversedge bowlers with 3-29.

Liversedge could only manage 101-9 in reply as Altaf Mohammad picked up 3-25.

Paul Marlow, who hit a century in his side's Priestley Cup defeat at Bradford & Bingley the previous Sunday, followed up with 38.

Hunslet Nelson's 22-year-old Australian Chris Anderson played the innings of the day, however.

He made an unbeaten 119, which contained four sixes and 19 fours, as he helped his side to 167-7 at Saltaire.

The pick of the home bowlers was leg-spinner Tanzeel Altaf (3-55) but only nine overs were possible in Saltaire's innings and they were 24-2 when play was brought to an early close.

Leaders Batley looked to be on course for a fifth win before rain halted their pursuit of Yeadon's 146-9 when they were on 120-5.

Scott Price (36) top-scored for Yeadon as Muhammed Hafeez and Tariq Hussain both returned 3-42.

Tariq Mehboob (37) and Asif Ayub (28no) starred for Batley but their reply ended after 19 overs.

Undercliffe were poised for victory at Keighley when the rain washed away their hopes with five overs of the game remaining.

Keighley were labouring on 158-5 in reply to Undercliffe's 235-7, despite the efforts of Jonathon Wilkinson (41no) and Ben Hastie (40),

A third-wicket stand of 113 between in-form Gulsheraz Ahmed (63) and Michael Loubser (48) helped Undercliffe build on the good work of opener Toby Thorpe (41).

Birstall's New Zealander Alexander Debs took 5-47 before their game at Ossett was washed out with the home side 111-7 after 23 overs. Shabir Rashid made 33 and Harvey Anderson (32).
