SPINNER Simon Bailey (4-25) and overseas paceman Waqas Maqsood (4-29) helped Baildon dismiss Gomersal for just 104 in Division Two of the JCT600 Bradford League.

Skipper Graham Hilton, who had made a century in Saturday's win over Spen Victoria, was again Gomersal's top scorer with 31 but they lost by eight wickets.

Baildon had no trouble knocking off the runs, with opener Harvey Anderson (44no) and Nahim Ashraf (37) easing them to their target in a battle between two early front-runners.

Scholes ended a run of three defeats as they brushed aside Hartshead Moor by eight wickets to climb back up to second.

Kasir Maroof (64) and Atif Zaid (60no) shared a second-wicket stand of 132 as the modest total of 148 was overhauled.

The highlight of the Hartshead Moor innings was a knock of 61 from their overseas player Fahid Ul-Haq, while Joe Duffy (3-31) was the pick of the Scholes bowlers.

Leaders Morley completed their second win of the weekend when they defeated Yeadon by12 runs in a close encounter at Scatcherd Lane.

Morley appeared in trouble at 5-2 but recovered to make 203 thanks largely to a third-wicket partnership of 111 between skipper Matt Baxter (73) and George Robson (43).

An unbeaten 35 from Richard Jubb proved important after Michael Hunter took 5-44.

Yeadon skipper James Todd (78) and Oliver Stephenson (41) gave Yeadon hope that they could follow up Saturday's ten-run win over Baildon by claiming another key scalp.

But they faltered as Morley's teenage spinner Jak Murphy took 4-51 to restrict them to 191-7.

Overseas player Muhammad Yasin was a key factor in Windhill's seven-wicket win over Brighouse.

Yasin took 4-40 as Brighouse were dismissed for 188 and followed up with an unbeaten 46 to see his side home.

Veterans Khalid Mehmood (44) and Maz Bhatti (43) provided good support to Yasin with the bat, while Brighouse's top scorer was another old hand – Chris Maloney, who made 39.

Little is going right for lowly Keighley. They are still searching for their first win of the campaign after going down by eight wickets to Bowling Old Lane.

Skipper Richard Wear battled hard for his 33 but lacked support as Keighley were dismissed for 162, with Ahsan Alishan picking up 4-44.

Ahsan Butt, who made 99 against Hartshead Moor on Saturday, followed up with an unbeaten 72 as Old Lane swept to their target.

He shared an unbroken third-wicket stand of 127 with Mustafa Bhatti (59no).
