It’s that time of the season when every point counts.
With so much riding on each game, we can’t afford to drop any more now and the pressure is on tomorrow evening.
There’s never a good time for players to get injured but we’ve picked up another two from last weekend, which is unfortunate.
Both me and Sibb will miss out but it means whoever comes into the side has a big chance to step up.
Sibb’s been going well and he played through most of that game with a broken thumb.
He had probably his best game for the club, cutting back on some nice inside ball plays to cause them trouble.
He’s going to be a big loss because he brings that experience and he’s a good player to play with, doing a lot of little things right which don’t go unnoticed by the players.
As far as I’m concerned, it’s frustrating to say the least but I’m sure the lads coming into the side will be hungry and they’ll be playing to keep their positions.
The win at Leeds was fantastic and just what we needed after our poor performance against Hull. There’s no better way to bounce back from disappointment than to go to Headingley and get two points. It’s been a long time coming.
They just scraped through against us twice before this season and we hadn’t done ourselves justice in those games.
It was great to see so many fans there too and really nice to give them something they could really enjoy.
Lastly, I’d like to wish Dave Halley all the best after he left the club this week. It was a shame to see him go but hopefully his move to Keighley will be a springboard back to the top.
