So glad I get to keep my kit on

The pressure’s off! I got my first try of the season last week and I have to admit I’d been getting a bit concerned.

I’d pretty much written myself off for the year but a few of the boys had been saying before Salford how they had a good feeling about it and BJ did say they come in pairs!

To get two was great and I’ve got Lynchy to thank for a couple of nice passes.

If it had been me in the same position I probably wouldn’t have given them!

With the dreaded Naked Run looming, it’s more relief than anything.

I’ve never had to do one yet and have normally got it all sorted early in the year.

I know big Joey always left it late but I’ve always been fine, so this year was a bit concerning.

I’m feeling for Matt Cook, Jason Crookes and Tom Olbison now as they’re the ones who seem set on having to do it.

Talking of pressure, we’re not really feeling it ahead of our game tomorrow at Hull.

Everyone knows what has to happen for us to get into the play-offs but we’re not too worried about it.

We’re going into the game like we have the last few weeks – with a smile on our faces and trying not to be too concerned about the outcome.

It’s exciting but we’re not getting too carried away.

Hull have had a similar season to us really, a mixed bag and very up and down.

They’ve recruited quite a lot of players during the course of the season though and have certainly strengthened their ranks.

They have a good strong side and on their day can test anyone.

It’s Hull’s final game of the season and in front of their own fans so they’ll be wanting to give them something to shout about.

It’s on TV too and is all set up for a great encounter.
