Time to lift lid on Langers' mischief

Hi. I’ve taken over as a guest columnist from Langers this week – don’t know if he knows – as a few things need to be put straight.

Myself and Dave Halley must let you all know. For one, it’s Jamie Langley and Rikki Sheriffe who are behind all the shenanigans going on in the changing room.

Jamie himself, under the guise of this column, has had the perfect cover-up.

He puts it in here, blaming everyone else, but he’s had a hand in a few things that have happened this year. And we know.

I feel very disappointed in Langers. He comes across as a very honest man, is a big leader for the Bulls and it’s a shame it’s come to this.

Young lads like James Donaldson – as a loose forward himself – look up to him and we just don’t want James ending up like Jamie! I can’t believe he put Craig Kopczak’s boots in the freezer – that’s just childish!

Anyway, enough of Langers’ silly antics.

We’ve got Catalans here tomorrow for what will be a tough and very physical encounter. It always is against the Dragons.

It will be tough up the middle. That’s where they’re going to come and we have to be on our game through there.

But we are enjoying playing our football at the moment. Probably the pressure is off us in a way and we just go out and play.

We’ve shown that against Quins and Huddersfield. At the Giants, we stuck to a gameplan and it just shows what can happen when we complete our sets.

We did 14 on the bounce – which I don’t think we’ve ever done – and that makes it hard for any team to compete.

Some people say Huddersfield had Wembley on their minds; I just don’t think they were expecting what we gave them. After they scored in the second minute, I feel they thought it’d be a walk in the park. But we woke up and started playing.
