Tadulala: Rhinos in a ton of trouble

Dangerman Semi Tadulala bids to celebrate his ton with the tries that will dump table-toppers Leeds Rhinos and earn the Bulls a sweet pay-back.

At Millennium Magic tonight, the prolific Fijian marks his 100th match since boldly upping sticks from Australia to join Super League.

The hard-running winger has brought plenty of flair to the British game with Wakefield and now Bradford, where he is currently on fire, bagging nine tries in his last five games.

"It is definitely my best run," said Tadulala, ahead of another titanic derby.

"I know it's a major thing for wingers to score tries but I've always been more patient and if it comes, it comes.

"I'm happy to do the little things right and that's what I've been concentrating on but it is good to be getting so many.

"Hopefully there's more coming in Cardiff tonight."

Tadulala, 30, didn't really savour the first Millennium Magic as he was recovering from a broken arm.

"I was running the water for Wakefield," he recalled.

"I was there and part of it all but not really involved. I aim to be doing it properly against Leeds though.

"To find out it's my 100th game over here makes it even more special. It was a big decision at first, leaving all my family for the first time, but I believed in myself.

"I had to tough it out at Wakefield but knew there was something big for me and think this is just the start of a huge opportunity to win some trophies with Bradford.

"Coming here has brought the best out of me. I'm still not playing to the best of my ability yet but I am getting there."

The former Melbourne Storm flier notched 38 tries in four seasons with the Wildcats.

He had yet to get off the mark for Bradford when Leeds smashed them 44-2 over Easter but is now on a five-match scoring streak.

"We haven't forgotten what they did to us at Headingley and it's always at the back of our minds," he said, as revitalised Bradford look to make it six wins from seven following that humiliating loss.

"I think that's why our season changed as it was a wake-up call for us that night and we've generally improved each week since.

"You can't call this revenge but we are out to do the job.

"In Super League you can win 44-2 one week and lose by the same margin against the same team the next. We know that's possible.

"We've studied everything they will throw at us and now it's about us turning up and wanting it more."

A very strong direct runner, quite similar to Marcus Bai. I think we will win today by at least 12 points.

tadulala played well tonight thats more than i can say for the rest off the team, we played okay in the first half and then collapsed in the second! i know a lot of you rate tame tupou but i think he is a total waste off space i have thought so since we played saints in the challenge cup game last season he turns his back to the attacking play and finds him self out of postion too often as he did tonight. i will never buy a ticket again for cardiff after last seasons shambles and i honestly think silverwood gave too many penaltys in this game againest both sides rugby league is getting to be a right stop start affair and boring to watch! ian smith let cas and wakey play, good for him.

Semi had another good game tonight, Hape looked dangerous at times aswell.

Front row worked hard, as did Morrison, they rest of the pack were cack.

Tupou was garbage, I thought after his lay off he might be hungry but that doesn't seem to be the case, he's started to become a liabilty.

Halfbacks were crap again, couldn't creat play against good defence whatsoever, what the frigg is the point of these little **** if they are just going to be defused in goal?

And FFS, somebody pay Harris off!!

Some good performances and some really poor ones. Blunders by players capable of better and all this against a badly weakened Leeds team.Toupou is young enough to go back to 'school' and learn his game. Bulls should release him in order that he can do this.It could have been so different had Evans been on and playing against those 3 early second half tries down Bulls right.. Harris was not to blame. He was one of the more committed Bulls, hes lost his legs but at least the effort was there. I fear Burgess is suffering that 'burn out' we all talked about though he can't be knocked for commitment. Full praise to Maclennan who is a coach of great ability and knowledge of players and the game of RLeague. Verdict? 'could do better'!!

Harris isn't to blame, but he doesn't do anything at all!!

He hasn't made 1 break all season.

Ok, my analyise of tonight game.

Tame, (im afraid to say this and dont get exicted LJ, cause its a first and last time) is ****!!! either he needs re-educating to a different position, or needs to go at the end of the season. Harris in for jefferies, well, that just goes to show we need someone of jefferies quality as a fall back !!
With that in mind, we need to be lining up someone of a high quality NOW in time for next season.

We missed vagana up front and need another 1 (preferably 2) like him just to bolster.

I dont doubt for a minute we will be there or there abouts at the end of the season, however, long term i feel begins NOW half way through the season.

Not a bad effort all told, but i dont think many teams are gonna beat the scum this year.

Let them have their couple of years of glory. End of the day, it wontout way what we have had, win or lose against them through a domestic season or not ;)

Burgess is running his blood to water and at his age he should be fed in more slowly. Vaganas injury was crucial and it's obvious Burgess is already below his best due to over-work at his age. Harris can only do his best and he is limited these days, but it wasn't him dropping the high bomb or knocking on or indeed being out of position. You do have to wonder why a player is picked on just for the sake of it. Good job Leeds had half the side missing it seems.

I would just like to say how magnificent and brave Andy Lynch is to play with such a shocking injury to his teeth (which were reported to have been torn from the jaw) uch!! Looking at a comparison, Man Utd's Vidic put his teeth through his lip and missed 2 games. That being in a far less contact sport. Andy was great against Leeds, making yards every time he got the ball. Quite frankly I don't know how the Bulls would have coped without him in the absence of big Joe.

Im pleased i dont excite. I will sleep much better now for knowing that!!

Your right, the time IS now, and if we were to look at the fact that we can beat everyone except Scum, thats only 2 more loses all season.

Finishing top would be nice, but it aint the be all and end all. Top 4 would do me at the moment, so at least we are there to mix it up.

End of the day, it wontout way what we have had, win or lose against them through a domestic season or not ;)
Do'nt worry spacky, nothing you do excites me. Its no good saying, end of the day it wont out weigh what we've had, is it? The time is now!

Was it just me or did anyone else not get fed up of hearing "leeds are without 7 first choice players" their team sheet looked pretty good to me, (suppose that shows theier strenght in depth)but i got hacked off with all the comments about us been beaten by a weak leeds team.

Praise really should go to Lynch the man is fantastic and please can we stop blaming harris for all that goes wrong!!!

Grumble over lol
