EALING'S archery team won their first ever gold medal at the London Heathrow Youth Games Finals.
Over 250 children from the borough took part in the finals at Crystal Palace over the weekend as Ealing finished in 11th place overall.
They emerged victorious in the archery thanks to the the heroics of Duncan King, James King, Amandeep Dhanoa, Juskieren Dhanoa, Victoria Standfield and Mark Bibby. The team were led to victory by manager Geoff King.
Elsewhere, Ealing took bronze in the women's basketball and rugby.
The borough also had top-five finishes in trampolining and boys volleyball.
