DEWSBURY is where I will be playing my rugby for the rest of the season – and it’s an opportunity to get some regular game-time.

I have sort of mixed feelings about the move in that I am still a Bradford Bulls player for another year.

At the Bulls we have been working hard to get into the Super 8s and play against the Super League teams.

I’m not going to play in them now and that’s the disappointing thing about it.

On the flipside, I get to play week in and week out at Dewsbury and that’s a major positive for me.

I didn’t really know I would be going to the Rams or how long for until Wednesday morning.

I knew then that I couldn’t play in the Super 8s for Bradford, and that’s tough.

From Bradford’s point of view, it’s probably a good thing for them that they signed a couple of new wingers in Omari Caro and James Clare.

It’s hard for me, though, especially with it being just two weeks before the Supers 8s start.

As a player you train throughout the off-season and during the year, so it makes it even more disappointing.

I thought I was starting to play well but then I didn’t play against Workington or Batley.

I thought I did okay against Hunslet in the next game and really showed what I can do.

We played Sheffield and I don’t think I had much of a chance in that game.

But I am still training with the Bulls and remain under contract for next season.

We will see how it goes and what Jimmy’s views on things are. Obviously his view is different to mine at the moment but I will going back there as I signed a two-year deal.

I’ve never been to a club where so many players are sent out on loan and a lack of a reserve grade certainly doesn’t help.

Chris Ulugia is at Batley on loan and I will be playing against him on Sunday.

I know Glenn Morrison from Parramatta when we played together and I’m looking forward to playing under him.

Being at Dewsbury is a chance to show what I can and to remind Jimmy of my capabilities.
