SO then, it's Leigh at Odsal this weekend and a game that needs no building up.

We have been up there with them all season and Sunday’s game could go a long way towards deciding top spot.

It would be great to get the win and we are under no illusions about how tough it is going to be.

We want to be going into the Super Eights with some wins under our belt and it would be a real boost to beat Leigh and Halifax in the last two games.

Even if Leigh end the season on top of the league, we still want to avenge their victory on the opening day.

Us winning this weekend would level things up at 1-1 and would set things up nicely for when we play them again in the coming weeks.

There will be more at stake then but Sunday is still a game we absolutely want to be taking the two points from.

It would be important from a psychological point of view that they know in the back of their minds that we can beat them.

I think the boys are ready to step up to the mark and put on a show for the fans in our final home game of the regular season.

I thought the boys did really well to fight back against Sheffield last week and we nearly got our rewards.

In the end, it wasn’t quite enough but you could not fault the character we showed to claw our way back into the match.

We just gave ourselves too much to do with the way we played in the first half.

Omari Caro’s arrival has increased competition for places on the wings but, like I have said all along, that’s what you want.

It’s good have to depth and hopefully I will be back involved next week against Halifax.

Fuifui Moimoi is a former team-mate of mine at Parramatta and we are close friends – he’s coming over to my house after the game.

He’s loving it at Leigh and he scored a hat-trick last week, so it shows what a quality player he is.

He’s a prop but he can run as a back – he’s a legend of the game.
