BEING dropped from the team for last week's trip to Workington was really disappointing, especially as I have been playing well week in and week out.

The Dewsbury game was a tough afternoon for everyone in the conditions we played in – and I don't think I went too badly in that match.

Jimmy probably has a different view of the game, so I missed out last week against Workington.

I guess I have just got to work my way back in – but it's just hard thinking about it when you don't get picked.

Earlier in the season I came back into the team after being told I needed to fix up certain things.

The mistakes included losing the ball, but I don't think I've lost the ball in the last six weeks.

I have worked so hard to make sure I don't make these kind of mistakes, but it's one of those things.

I just need to try and stay positive because whatever the coach thinks is best for the team, I have to agree with and go with it.

We have a big squad and some big games coming up, so I need to stay on my toes and be ready when called upon.

I can't sit here and sulk about it because if I get a chance, then I need to take it with both hands and perform because it's all about the team.

After Batley this weekend, we have my old club Featherstone at Odsal next Wednesday.

That is a big game and Fev have been playing well in the past couple of weeks.

I'm pretty sure they will come out with plenty of confidence and bring it to us, so we need to be ready.

We had a very good performance away at Featherstone earlier in the season and racked up a big win.

It was probably our best defensive display all year but they have improved since then.

They are a big club and with the culture there, they are always going to be in and around the top of the Championship.

We cannot afford to take them lightly and we've got to be ready for them.

It's a busy time for our club, with three games in eight days, and three wins would do just nicely.
