IT’S Hull FC this weekend and the club where I enjoyed a very successful loan spell in the second half of the 2012 campaign.

I’ve got a lot of respect for the Black and Whites because they did a lot for me and my career.

I enjoyed my stint there and it was a massive boost for me – and much-needed at the time.

I am looking forward to this weekend’s game and the great news is that it looks like I am starting on the wing.

We are a team who are playing well and winning games at the moment, so I’m delighted to be involved again.

It’s just disappointing that this team won’t have too much longer together as a few lads will soon be signing off.

James Donaldson announced this week that he will be moving to Hull KR and fair play to him.

Donno is a good mate of mine but to be quite honest all the lads get on really well together.

It’s good in training and when you’re sat in Costa having a laugh together.

But it’s nowhere near as good as when you’re out on the pitch together in a game.

It’s a bit of a strange old time right now with players weighing up their options.

There are a few lads who have got no option – they have been told to look elsewhere – there are others to-ing and fro-ing over salaries and there are lads who want to stay and the club are looking after them.

Everyone has got their own agenda but it’s professional sport and you’ve got to look after yourself.

Some fans will understand and other perhaps won’t but that’s the reality of the situation.

I’ve got an idea of what I want to do and I’ve got to go and chase that.

Hopefully it works for me and for every other player who is staying or going.

But the main focus, like I said, is on finishing the season on a high and we are well on track to do that.

Beating Wigan and Leeds was fantastic and there is no reason why we can’t maintain that winning run this weekend.
