It’s a massive game for us this weekend and the lads are all ready and raring to go.

Obviously there has been a bit of concern in the camp earlier this week due to the problem with wages but there are no worries as far as I’m concerned.

We’ve been told that is what’s happening and apparently it’s just a case money being held up by the banks before the club can access it to pay everybody.

A few of the boys who were here last year were getting a bit wary and started saying ‘this is exactly what happened last year’.

But we’ve been reassured that’s not the case and Franny has had a chat to us too.

We’ve all got a lot of time for Franny and we all want to do well with him. Come tomorrow at Wakefield we will all be giving 110 per cent for him and pulling in the same direction.

Robbie Hunter-Paul came in to speak to us as a squad this week about the wages situation and, like I said, I’ve bought into what we have been told.

You either say ‘right, I’m not training, I’m going home because I’ve not got my money’ or you say ‘fair enough, we’re a team’.

I’ve spoken so many times about how close we are and this is just a test for us. Hopefully we come out the other side.

The last time we faced Wakefield was the first home game of the season and it was my debut for the Bulls. We caught them pretty cold that day and ran out convincing 40-6 winners.

Wakefield started slowly that day but I’ve been impressed with them in recent weeks. They play some really good stuff.

It’s going to be tough for us, especially away from home, but we believe that we can really kick on now after beating Hull.

If we can get a result at Wakefield and then turn Catalan over then people will be singing our praises again.
